Salton or Sunbeam blender?

not necessarily the make but how sharp and how long the blades last ,look at wattage as well .Philips or Panasonic ,depends on how much you want to spend ,

Just regular smoothies. Never really used ice before but would be nice to be able to do that.
Previous blender was a piece of plastic junk.

Get a Kenwood or a Nutribullet. Will last till the next 3 generations.

If you like to do hot stuff like soup, then Kenwood with Glass. But the blenders are usualy plastic.

I make protein smootihes daily I waaaaay prefer a stick blender. Maybe something else to consider. also all my fruit is iced. I use a phillips stick blender

Yes, but just check the size. For smoothies you generally want something smaller as you don't put a lot in it. There should be the same one but with the smaller attachment as well. Usually comes in a bundle.

Agreed for smoothies NutriBullet all the way.

NutriBullet has one that makes soup as well but then it gets pricey.
