Good, rot in hell. Bloody scumbag criminals.
Pitty Radovan seems to be untouchable

Sam Issa, the man gunned down in Bedfordview, was a drug trafficker and when he was killed owed his suppliers millions.

This is according to specialist investigator Mike Bolhuis, who is part of a team that is investigating the death of the Lebanese citizen.

Issa, known as Sam Issa aka The Cripple or Black Sam in underworld circles, was killed last Saturday after more than than 33 bullets were fired at his Audi Q7. He was killed near his home in Bedfordview.

Issa has been liked to Radovan Krejcir, and according to reports, he was seen outside the Czech fugitive’s home the night before his death.

Bolhuis told Saturday Star that Issa imported drugs.

“Issa’s main suppliers were in South America,” he said.

“He would import cocaine from Brazil to South Africa and those buying in South Africa would then sell to nightclubs and so on. Issa was the middle man in the drug deals.”

Bolhuis says the word from the underworld is that Issa was killed because he apparently owed the suppliers.

“Four weeks ago Issa was beaten up badly by his suppliers from Brazil because he did not pay them.”

It was alleged he was owed R2 million by Krejcir, according to Bolhuis.

Issa had pressured Krejcir for the money, and soon afterwards the illegal immigrant was gunned down.

Saturday Star called Krejcir several times but did not respond to our calls or SMS. He has, in other reports, denied any involvement with Issa.

Hawks spokesman Captain Paul Ramaloko said the unit would not comment on speculation. He added that they had not received any information regarding Issa’s involvement with drugs.

“We are dealing with the murder only. ”

Meanwhile Bolhuis believes that corrupt police officers were involved in the murder.

“We have established that Issa was shot with an R5 which is a police/military-issued weapon. We found the cases on the scene,’ said Bolhuis.

“There was definitely police corruption. We are suspecting three corrupt policeman from the East Rand.”

But the Hawks insisted the killer was not a policeman.

“We are 100 percent sure that no policeman was involved,” Ramaloko said. “Our manhunt for another suspect continues. There has been a name thrown around by the media. We investigated this specific officer and he has been cleared. He was in Bloemfontein at the time and we have CCTV footage to prove it.”

Bolhuis believes that there are more hits to follow.

“The bloodshed is not over, it’s far from it. I am expecting more hits to follow after this.”

Bolhuis has pleaded to the public to come forward and contact him should they have information on the murder.

He said Issa had been living in South Africa for the last 16 years after fleeing from France “because he was a convicted felon”.

“Issa fled from France because he was a convicted felon. He was involved in an anti-Semitic attack,” said Bolhuis.

“When he came to South Africa, Issa was involved in the underworld, in racketeering, as well as drugs.”

Independent forensic investigator Paul O’Sullivan said that Issa had been in South Africa on a false identity document, after he had run a check on the Lebanese man’s identity document. - Saturday Star

I wonder how they figured that out. I doubt the weapon in question provides any real solid evidence by leaving markings on the brass, unique to the R5. An unlikely scenario would be they have every single issued weapons barrel rifling on record. Something is very fishy here...

Where are we or this country heading......

Crime lords living in this country like its a safe haven for them......

False SA ID's which are now, 16 years later, only picked up to be false......

Possible police involvement in the execution.......

Police only investigating the murder...screw the drugs which was the root cause....

Perhaps they know more than they are saying?
An R5 or similar, made by Denel usually cut or crimp the case on ejection, unlike the M4's.
On my M4, it does not in anyway damage the shell.
My old LM 4 did

Sam Issa murder trial finally gets start date

JOHANNESBURG - After more than three years and repeated delays, a trial date has finally been set in the murder trial involving slain Lebanese drug dealer Sam “Black” Issa.

Czech fugitive Radovan Krejcir and four other men will stand trial for the underworld style hit.

Issa was gunned down in Bedfordview in October 2013.

Clutching his Sudoku book, Krejcir listened as several lawyers told the court they will pull out if this case is delayed any further.

Krejcir is now being represented by a legal aid advocate.

Judge rejects request for postponement in Sam Issa trial

OHANNESBURG - The judge hearing the trial of five men accused of being behind a hit on drug dealer Sam Issa in Bedfordview in 2013 has refused another postponement.

Radovan Krejcir and four others are accused of murdering the Lebanese man, also known as ‘Cripple Sam’ or ‘Black Sam’, in an underworld-style shooting.

The judge was clear, the accused have had enough time to bring applications and to consult with their lawyers and now it is time to get serious.

'Not guilty' plea entered for Krejcir, co-accused

Johannesburg – The court has entered a plea of "not guilty" in the case against convicted drug dealer Radovan Krejcir and three others accused of killing Lebanese national Sam Issa, after some of them refused to plead.

Krejcir and his co-accused appeared in the Johannesburg High Court on Thursday.

Krejcir faces nine charges, along with co-accused Mfaniseni Memela, Nkanyiso Mafunda and Siboniso Miya.

The State withdrew its case against the fifth accused Bulgarian Lybohir Grigorov. The State did not give reasons as to why the charges were withdrawn.

When Judge Winston Msimeki asked the men how they intended to plead to all the nine charges they are facing - all four refused to plea.

"I refuse to plead, my Lord," said Krejcir.

Krejcir said he wanted an interpreter who would be able to explain the charges brought against him.

His co-accused Memela also refused to plead. He said he would not plead until the State prosecutor was not involved in the case.

"I have another case with the same prosecutor. As long as this prosecutor is involved in this case then, I am denying the charges,” Memela said.

Meanwhile, Mafunda said he failed to understand why he was charged with the murder of Issa. He asked the court to make a decision on his plea.

'Hand of shooter was that of a white man'

His legal representative also read out a letter in court that said an eyewitness into the murder of Issa had testified that there were only two occupants in the vehicle that had carried the shooters, and "she thought them to be white, since the hand of a shooter was that of a white man... I thus fail to understand why I have been charged with murder and its concomitant charges".

Judge Msimeki said the court would enter a plea of not guilty for all the accused.

The matter was postponed to February 22.

Issa was gunned down in his car at an intersection outside the Bedford Centre mall in Bedfordview around 06:00 on Saturday, October 12, 2013. Police found at least 30 spent cartridges on the scene.

Krejcir faces nine charges along with Memela, Mafunda and Miya.

Constant changes in legal representation and outstanding evidence documents has led to regular postponements in the matter since April 2016.

The State alleges that Issa was killed because he and Krejcir had argued over R500 000 which Issa had lent Krejcir for a bail application in another case.

Krejcir claims his mother had sent him bail money and that Issa owed him R500 000.
