Hey Guys.

I want to connect my normal monitor with a DVI cable and clone it on the TV in my room.
My Card has an HDMI out but I can only extend, not clone.

In the Nvidia Contro Panel there is a selection * Clone * but then it says it cnnot save the settings.

Anyone had any luck with connecting a monitor through DVI and an LCD with HDMI then getting the same image on both screens?
Card used is an Asus GTX 295

Thanks very much.

If you're using windows 7 then just hold in windows + P = choose ure option

Go to control panel and type "Display" in the search box

The Display Options will jump to the top of Control Panel.

Choose the option that says "Connect to a Projector" and then choose "Duplicate"

Thanks Gary. I tried that but it just will not do it. I can extend them no problem but once Duplicate is selcted, it just does nothing. Its almost like it will not select it.

I just want the same thing on both the freaking screens

can you just buy a plain old VGA splitter cable from the computer shop?

Yep.
When I use Win Key + P though, Projector turns out to be my screen and Computer is actually the TV.

I dont know what it is but I just cannot get it to duplicate.

Rather Annoying...
