Samsung 2233GW?

Ati dude on my 2232gw i cannot select the brightness controls, i got in but when i push the button to go into the option it does not work.

Does your 4th button on your monitor allow you to go into brightness and contrast sections?

There is no visible difference between 2 and 5ms.

You can go into the brightness and contrast sections with the 'Return' button. It's fully customizable. If you can't, there must be something wrong that side.

Has anyone connected a PS3 to this monitor? I hooked up my PS3 using an HDMI to DVI cable, and in the PS3 displaying settings, it told me that 1080p was available, but when I selected it, the screen went fuzzy, then the picture came back, and it went fuzzy again, in that cycle. When I set it to 720p, it worked completely fine.

Anyone hazard a guess why the 1080p option, even though available does not work properly?

No idea, but the same thing happens to me with my TV - Samsung LA32A450. It's HD Ready but it refuses to accept 1080p even though Samsung claims it's supported. Who knows?

I have the Samsung 2232GW and I just brought my gf the 2233GW one thing I did notice about the 33 is that it has a 5ms response time apposed to the 2ms on the 32. I don't think it makes a big difference but its interesting. My gf was happy with the flower design on the back of the monitor and cable tie. To me they both seem pretty much the same, the 33 is slightly brighter but not a lot.

Not according to samsung.
