Samsung 2493HM Vs. Sinotec 32LCDSP

OK i gave the 24" to my brother who was drooling all over the new monitor, so now i have a choice to either buy the same 2493HM or look into getting something bigger like the Sinotec 32" LCD TV ....

2493HM:
Res - 1,920 x 1,200
Contrast Ratio - DC10,000 : 1(1,000 : 1)
Response time - 5ms

32LCDSP:
Res - 1366x768
Response Time - 6.5ms

My sole purpose of buying a monitor is for gaming and watching video, so IYO which one is better for my application ?

Feel free to suggest any other monitor too ...

What about a Samsung T260 26"?

Or perhaps if you can squeeze out a bit more... Sinotec 42" full HD 1920x1080 (6.5ms) - very popular screen here on MyBb, have seen some pics of PCs attached and looks great.

Yeah, not all games support the 1366x768 resolution. I know my series shows full screen on this resolution (actually 1360x768), but for games, you most probably have to choose 1024x768 and then the picture will look like it was stretched.

Definately get the PC LCD. LCD TV's not so good for (everyday) pc usage, sore eyes etc.
