Hi is the Samsung 2494HS a good monitor will use it for pc gaming and is it hd?
is the Samsung P2450H better?

Yes and yes.

Yes, Yes and No (the No is my opinion only, the 2494HS may be a little smaller but it has multimedia speakers and is a little cheaper). The P2450H is prettier though.

I prefer the "PC LCD" look of the 2494HS and the speakers.

The P is 0.4" bigger.

Is it REALLY 120hz? I noticed samsung.com.au has the manual for download (no other product info yet) and in the spec section of the manual it lists it as 60hz....

It is 120hz, but not on input, it is like the 120hz tv's that play it back upscaled.

The 2233rz has a true 120Hz refresh rate, while the 2494HS is 2x60Hz – meaning that a ghost frame is inserted between the actual refresh rate frames to smooth out the image
