I did, about 3 months ago. Then yesterday I got another 4 for the same amount...
Imagine how the suckers feel that bought those R2000 "3D starter kits".

Unfortunately you're a casualty of progress. Samsung switched from infrared to bluetooth communication for 3D glasses between 2010 (C models) and 2011 (D models & later).no i said lame cause these model glasses wont work on my la46c750

Yeah sucks, I remember you got it just before D range came out.
My wife apparently just went on a bit of a rampage through Somerset Mall. They wouldn't give her extra glasses in Game even though they promised her 4 with the set she got last week and it only came with 2. So she tore into the Samsung guy who promised to send them to her. Then went to Dion Wired to try her luck, Samsung guy there told her no, so she went apeschit about Samsung and how the hell can she tell the kids to take turns at watching a movie after buying a tv for 10k etc etc
So the guy gave her 4 pairs for R100 to get rid of her I reckon

yip it was a really good deal back then... still a brilliant tv.... so does anyone know where I can get more 3d glasses for my model for R50

How does these glasses communicate with the 3D tv ? Do you need a seperate USB adapter for it to work ?

In the synchronisation of the glasses with the TV? I doubt it. They're either synced or not as far as I know

So if I get this right, I can just purchase the glasses and it will automatically sync with my TV(Samsung PS51D550). Awesome
Yep, same TV as I have. You just turn on the 3d mode on the TV, hold the power button on the glasses, the LED flashes a few times, and a message appears on the TV screen to let you know it's synced up.
