I'm really stumped. I have set the streaming options in my windows media player to remote stream. I have downloaded and installed the allshare software from samsung and I have a Samsung Galaxy S2 running ICS. BUT still this damn phone won't find my PC and Vice Versa. My computer is connected to the router with a LAN wire and my phone is connected via WIFI. I don't see how it doesn't work but it just doesn't. Makes me sad.

Any help?

I have it running, no need for involving windows media player, just only your sharing center should be allowing public to view or home to view your computer.I got a samsung amp and it detects it fine, its just a matter of installing, making sure your antivirus is not blocking , then selecting what you want to share.
Unfortunately i can only provide help with the Software as i use an Amp to connect only to the server.
