Samsung ATIV S

I wouldn't want to make a decision just yet.

For me this announcement by Samsung was too rushed, unceremonious and too unexpected for it to make me really excited about it.

Besides, I think Nokia will come up with much better designs.

Samsung are not serious enough about WP.

Yeah it looks like great specs but slapdash design. Plus I'm over huge screen phones.

I currently have the Samsung Focus and I think I might stick with Samsung Again

I've got phones from all the brands, and am using my Lumia simply because of the support it gets. No other manufacturer seems to give a crap except Nokia, and it really does show. Until that stage, I will stick with Nokias.

p.s. Design wise, no one has made a phone that feels close to the Lumia 800. It was a painful decision to use my Lumia 900 as my day-to-day.

It felt like Samsung rushed the announcement to get in before Nokia, and possibly to get some positive news after the whole Google debacle. Samsung is in the news at the moment and PR probably thought it best to take advantage of that by announcing the device asap.

Elop says Samsungs unveiling of the Ativ range of Win8 devices is nothing short of a big leak because according to him, anyone can step up and say they have got Win8 devices. Nokia on the other hand will show working devices and detail what the system has - today.

Nokia will be showing off a fully-functional Windows Phone 8 OS on their new devices—rubbing the point home that Samsung was unable to do this just a week ago.
