Samsung B7330 and GPS

Well, I made the mistake last week of getting a Samsung B7330. All in all not abad phone, but Samsung does not include any sofware for the GPS. After enquiring about this I was told I can purchase the software for R599.
With Nokia advertising that their phones come with free navigation for live, I never even thought that a phone would be supplied without software for such a feature.
Just a friendly warning to others not to fall in the same trap.

When a phone is advertised as having GPS, then it just means it has a GPS antenna. Nothing more

Download Google Maps if it's available for your phone. No voice navigation, but it's still useful.

They used to include the Garmin software for free to use/upgrade for 2 years back in the days with the Omnia.

I have a Samsung GPS phone with Garmen but I find google maps which you can download free to work better.
