Samsung faces lawsuit over 'exploding' washing machines in the US

Samsung has said it is investigating reports that some of its washing machines have exploded in the US.

A class-action lawsuit filed in New Jersey is alleging some Samsung top-loading washing machines have exploded in their owners' homes.

Some of the explosions allegedly caused damage to walls and doors and presented "significant injury risks".

But why? Did they use the same battery tech. I didn't think washing machines has any exploding parts
 
Poor Samsung, having a rough period and of course the victims that suffered personal injury and financial difficulties.

The exact words Samsung used were " We are heartbroken". :(

I do applaud them with the Note 7 recall though. Impressive how they issued a recall for every single one and took a huge loss as a result. Apple would have hidden behind their lawyers as the court cases and damage claims come up.

Obviously the person operating the machine did not check the jeans pockets properly and they washed their note 7.
