Samsung Galaxy Ace.. 2.3.5 nothing on Kies

I got the Galaxy Ace from Vodacom this week, after having issues loading Kies, I thought there might be update for the phone, cause I read that 2.3.5 was available for the Galaxy Ace and it helps lots with battery life. Does anyone know when it might be available in South Africa or for Vodacom users?? I would prefer getting the official update from Kies, not leaked version / modified versions. Since I have just got the phone.

In SA , I doubt Sa samsung will ever release 2.3.5.
With my GIO I gave up and went with firmware from Europe, extended my battery life by 2 days so was worth it.
