Samsung galaxy gear vr

I just upgraded my contract to the s7 and saw that you could get the galaxy gear vr from MTN up until the 31st july. I've tried folowing the instructions they gave to download the rewards app but there is no option for the gear vr...has anyone managed to get it or is MTN basically just using flase advertising. Surely they should say if the stock has run out or not

That promotion on the rewards app ended on the 6th July if I remember correctly

Also, I spoke to the consultant when I did my upgrade and she said there was only about 2000 (or something like that VR's for the promotion

Otherwise, I think I saw it on sale on Takealot? for R1400 or something

Exactly! It even said so on the MTN site. To update anyone interested though, I called samsung and they said all I need to do is send them my details and they'll send it. They didn't say it was out of stock or anything so fingers crossed it works out
