Will someone please be so kind to provide a link here to the KitKat firmware (Russian version seems best thus far) for the Note 10.1 2014 edition. I've had it with all the ads, spamware, extortions (super slow useless throttled downloads ... unless you pay membership fees for something you might use once in three years), etc to download the file.

Which version should I download for South Africa? the UK version? does my tablet has to be rooted for this? just sick and tired that it is still running with Android 4.3 and no update from Vodacom.

What's your model number?
Check it against what is available on sammobile. If it is the P601, try this one: http://www.sammobile.com/firmwares/download/48449/P601XXUCOF1_P601SERCOF1_SER/ if not, search for your model number and find the same country.
