So your suggestion would be to avoid an entire brand which has capable devices just because of their crappy firmware roll-out strategy?
If you took the time to read my post above, you would see that many consumers are upset at the speed/frequency in which firmware/android updates are made to their devices. We acknowledge that these are capable devices and would be even better if they are updated on time with the rest of the world.
I used apple updates as an example because that is one thing they do spot on! Users do not have to wait ages and in some cases years before seeing anything. And as I mentioned, with my Samsung devices nearing 2 years, it would be too late as most people upgrade their devices after 2 years once their contract expires.
Could users predict the painfully slow roll-out of firmware for the note 3, Note tabs and Note pro devices (Considering these are flagship devices) when purchasing them? The answer is No.
I have also read your response to a completely unrelated thread where you state that I "Complain" about the firmware updates pointing back to this thread.
You seem to take users feedback to the devices quite personally. Guess what? We do have a reason to be upset with the slow android/firmware updates along with other users who are waiting for them as well. When a customer supports a brand and pays an excessive amount of money for devices where we are promised support frequently, you can be sure that we will be upset if Samsung SA doesn't keep its promises....And we have the right to.
