Hi guys please help :crying:

My Note 3 just seems to have lost network access, see error

note 4.png

Wifi seems to still work but I cannot make or receive calls

1) I did the most stupid thing by doing a hard reset of my phone " VOLUME UP,HOME AND POWER BUTTON"
& then I did the factory reset. Still nothing
I took it to Samsung store in galleria and they said the imei number is gone and I need to take it to SAMSUNG to restore it.

Does anybody know if I can do this myself without driving so far :erm:

I get this on my S4.

It's because the sim card actually isn't registered with the provider.

If the sim card is registered, and you've been messing around with root and stuff, you may have deleted your phone's modem information. EFS partition.

Always keep a backup of that.
If that's gone.
You've got a nice tablet. :p

I had the same issue a month ago with my Note 5, after a few visits to my service provider and Samsung they eventually found that it is blacklisted. I bought it brand new out of the box on Gumtree, the guy probably took out a contract and a few months later reported it as stolen and blacklisted it to claim from insurance.
