I'm looking into getting a tablet for my wife from FNB.

FNB said they have the Note N800. I'm trying to get info from that model on the internet, but can't find anything worth mentioning.:wtf:
I already asked the assistant from FNB several times what size hard drive it has and whether it has 3g as well as wi-fi...all I can get out of her is "N800"...

Anyone knows something about this model?

Okay, so we where about to get the N8000 from FNB for R299 pm, but then I decided to look at other providers as well.

We can get the same N8000 at Vodacom for R479 (R280 for the device plus R199 for 3GB data pm). I didn't expect to be able to find the device cheaper anywhere else, so was quite astonished. Vodacom's 3GB data only costs R189...

It's not worth it to mention MTN's offer.

Cell C has the N8000 for R399 with 2GB pm included (2GB data only costs R99 plus R114 connection fee)

I'm a bit confused about 8ta's offer, but it seems you get the N8000 plus 10GB pm for R538 (the 10GB pm only costs R199)

It seems as if it's not necessarily cheaper to get the N8000 with FNB as I though. It will be cheaper to go for Vodacom or Cell C directly, but it will be cheaper to go with FNB for the device and take 8ta's 10GB (Go big 10gigs big) option, but 10gigs might be a bit too much...

What are you guys doing with regards to your tablet's data?
