Nope, it works with my prepaid sim, but not my contract sim. Called Virgin mobile and they just say wait

HAHAHAHAHAHA!

You joined the dark side, you decided to join Virgin! Get used to it, its your own damn fault!

They won't help you and the settings aren't on their website. Maybe if you dig deep in these forums you may find the right settings...

We have the setting, see first post. It works fine with my other sim, just not my new one. Nothing to do with the settings.

My settings worked automatically when I put my sim in my new S2, didn't have to change anything.

Took this on contract with Virgin for the lady...internet sucks in Limpopo...She is going back to JHB today, hopefully its fine there otherwise it will be a huge freaking waste. Phone is awesome though. Arent the default settings that come with the settings enough?

Anyone had any luck with this yet? I'm waiting for their tech department to call me.

I called customer care and they told me to wait for further assistance and 5 hours later I find myself accessing the internet.
I still have to check if mms is also activated.

Update.
Tech department called run thourgh all the setting on phone and they recommended a sim swop. Did a sim swop and still no internet, tech department called me again and we tried my sim in a other virgin phone.still no go ,put that phones sim in to my phone and it works (ie full internet ect) they than reset my account and still no internet. finally they agreed that the problem lays on virgins system. waiting on call back.

Hope you didn't pay for the sim swop

I installed a custom rom last night and my internet works. Not sure of that is what fixed it but im glad it works.

mici, do you have a USB Jig? followed your instructions to flash to 2.3.4 and it worked like a charm...is that the best firmware to use currently?

Well the best kind of depends on your taste. Some people prefer speed, others looks. At the moment I use MIUI, which is just awesome! I don't have a usb jig yet, still waiting for delivery.
