Samsung Galaxy S21 and Android Auto

Hi folks

Hope this is in the right place. We recently bought a vehicle that has Android Auto. My wife has a S21 I have an A70. She has some problems where Android Auto would just stop picking up her phone and then suddenly it would start working again, where as I have no problems. Has anyone ever run into this issue? I have googled and it does seem like this is a general problem.

Common problem. Had it for a while. Had to hard reset the cars radio, then all cleared up.

What I have noticed though is that to prevent the issues, connect the phone to the car via cable with the ignition *off*. Also when you want to disconnect the phone, switch the ignition off first, then disconnect. See if this helps.
