Samsung Galaxy S3 or wait for S4?

Hey guys,

I've been reading MyBB for years and even had an account here (Quentin360 SA) which was banned due to being "underage", I turned 18 in October last year and the ban has still not been lifted so I created a new account.

Anyway, I want to take out a new contract with Cell-c for the Samsung Galaxy SIII @R329 / PM.

But with the S4 releasing in a few months, I can't decide if it will be worth it to wait for the S4 rather than get the S3 now?

Does anyone know what the expected contract prices will be for the S4?
Do you guys think Cell-c will run a promotion for the S4 like they are doing for the iPhone 5?
 
S4 will realistically be available from June if it launches in March. Prices should be the same as S3 launch prices.
 
Depends on if you can/want to wait or not. No one knows for sure when we will see the s4.
 
Contract dependent. Work on R3500 pay in. So divide by 24 and add to the phone contract price you're interested in.
 
What was the launch price for the S3? (R7k-R8k?)

R7k works out to just under R300 / PM phone cost.

S4 - maybe in September/October 2013.

Most sources are predicting June / July?

Either way... Still a long way to go, can hold out until July, if there isn't a definitive SA launch date by then, I'll probably just get the S3.
 
My 2c, wait for the S4 and get it as soon as possible after launch. Buying an S3 now means it will be "outdated" in 6 months time.

E.g. I bought my S3 in June 2012, when the new S4 comes at least i would have had my phone for (hopefuly) longer then a year before it was "outdated"

I would also go for the Galaxy S3.

There's a reason Samsung has sold more than 50 million Galaxy S3s - it's simply an awesome phone. :)

S3 is way to old.

Rather get an Xperia T. R299p/m now with MTN on Anytime 200 with 150Megs of data. R309p/m on Topup 200.
