Samsung Galaxy S4 sync problem

I guess you all know by now that when you upgrade your phone to Android 4.3 you are obliged to upgrade Kies from 2.6 to Kies3 as it won't connect with 2.6. Problem is they don't tell you at the time that you will no longer be able to sync your calender, photos and contacts etc on your phone with your pc because of a glitch with the Kies software and Samsung to this day cannot confirm when this problem will be corrected. This seems to be an international problem not one in SA alone. Has anyone managed to find another program that can be downloaded on your pc to take over the sync operation previously available on Kies? I gather this failure to rectify the problem speedily is not doing much good to Samsung's reputation as most businessmen are dependent on Kies to sync their calender and contacts to their pc's.

I have a Note 3 and im finding it fairly frustrating as well. Samsung appear to launch everything half baked and theyre not exactly quick to fix problems either. Took them 4 months to launch a patch that stopped the S4 camera rebooting the phone. Give wondershare mobilego a try for syncing while samsung play dead and take their time with a fix.

Has anyone seen or heard anything about a fix being available to fix the Kies sync problem?

I just learnt that the Samsung Kies 3 program was updated yesterday and I just downloaded it. Don't get exited though, the sync buttons are back but it still won't sync. Just reports an error. Seems Samsung didn't test the program before releasing it! Same problem being reported on the Android Central Forum.
