Samsung Galaxy S6 prices for SA

Well those prices are just ridiculous.

Wanted the S6 Edge, but at this rate I'll just keep my S4.

Thats really pricey! Can't be worth 16K even for top of the line? Whats the iPhone 6+ ?

It was ridiculous enough that cell phones breached the R10 000 mark......now they are going for the R20 000 mark? absolutely ridiculous! I bet that a good couple of people who pre-ordered this will opt to wait a few months till the price drops. I am waiting to see what the early adopter issues are on this device. I will wait a few months till those issues are ironed out and the price has dropped to something normal before getting one.

I would hate to be an early adopter who has paid that price just to experience early production unit issues.

Well if you can get a contract at R500 x 24months = R12000 then it's worth it.
Why do you want to buy the phone and then still buy Data and Airtime for it etc

So all the iTards who kept telling us their phones are better because they're more expensive will change their minds now, right? The Galaxy S6 is now the bestest phone because it's the expensivest.

Actually, I think the S6 looks pretty disappointing, it has no SD card slot or storage and is a step back from the S5.

If a phone's pricetag is a yardstick of how good it is, then Vertu blows Apple and now Samsung out of the water. The Vertu Signature retails for between $10 000 and $20 000. It must be super duper bestest ever.

The better question is, the Samsung fanboi's who kept telling everyone their phones were better because it had a SD card slot and user-replaceable battery will change their minds now, right?

Funny how the apple Fanbois have a lot to say here :D
Actually the problem here is that Samsung is trying to set a new yardstick out there which is very disappointing. Apple was expensive but if other vendors now think they can do the same for their phones, then everyone loses.
