Samsung Galaxy S6

Quite a bold move to dump Qualcomm and only go with their own Exynos chip.

I still have a Qualcomm chip in my gold S5.

The Exynos chips are always usually faster than the Qualcomm counterparts.

This is good news, as there means a lot more development on the ROM side, as there is only one SoC to work with.

Not always, only when both chips are based off of reference ARM designs. It's why the S5 was sold with the S801 as the international model.

Depends on how open Samsung are with their chipset sources, and if they can match Qualcomm in this regard. Development of custom ROMs for the Exynos variant of the S5 is close to non-existent when compared to the S801 variant.

What do you guys think?
