Hi guys.

I just wanted to know if the tab is locked to the network?
I want to put a cell c sim card in a tab i got from vodacom and want to know if it will brick the tab?

Yup.. it will completely brick the tab...

You should take the sim back to Cell C since you can't use it.

Could i use a usb modem with it? Via the usb adapter? Would rooting the tab remove this limitation?

The man was talking rubbish.

No device in SA is networked locked as its against local laws. Only thing they can do is void your warranty claim and you end up taking the device to the OEM instead of Vodacom in case of factory defects.
