I am trying to source one of these locally, preferably with more than 16GB of onboard memory. Anything available locally for a reasonable cost (I have seen some on BoB for over R7000, but this is over the top, I can bring it in for a lot less than that) ? My target price is R5500.
The 16GB model seems to be generally available overseas, but I have not really seen the 32GB and 64GB models, although these have been announced by Samsung.
This tablet interests me more than the 7" Asus Nexus, because although it has the same screen resolution (1280x800), it has 3G and a microSD slot. The Asus is a lot cheaper, but the lack of a microSD slot is a dealkiller for me, especially if it only has 16GB of onboard memory.
I can live without the 3G if I have to, so the Samsung Galaxy Tab 7.7 P6810 is also under consideration.
