Samsung Galaxy Tab mail

Hi all,

My boss has got a Samsung Galaxy Tab and I have set up his work email on it. However, he now wants it to only download headers. I cant seem to find a setting for that and a google search just gives me other people looking for the same thing and others suggesting using gmail, which wont really work for him. Any ideas on how I can get just the mail headers to download?

Would help if we knew what mail server/protocol you using?

You could set up IMAP and if the tablet doesn't support it you can look for a IMAP client on android market.

I dont have one so I am just guessing.

I'm IMAP'ing mine, working beautifully - It grabs the complete mail on demand.

If the internet is having trouble, your boss should have done a bit more research before he bought it.

Ya, I should have mentioned the protocol. It is IMAP. IMAP is supported, not a problem at all, but it seems like the default mail client does not support downloading only the mail headers. Guess he will have to have a look on the market and see if he can find another email client which can handle that.
