My GT-P7500 10" tablet suddenly refused to turn on. Took the unit in to the local, supposed Samsung accredited repair agent. First of all they want to charge me R100-00 just to look at the tablet. Today they replied, requiring approval for a repair quote of R4,985-00......W.T.F!? I can buy a new tablet for that money!!!!
What could go so drastically wrong with it, to justify that type of cost? Unfortunately the unit is out of warranty. Could anyone suggest a repairer less inclined to rip me off? I'm in Port Elizabeth, but will courier the unit, if need be.
