Good day

I just want to ask those who have or those who are planning to get to share their opinion on this product..

Like is it worth getting it?

And if compared to iPad 2.. which is better?

Pricing isn't really a problem.. but if one could also send a useful link on where to get one for cheap.. that would be great as well..

Thanks :D

I see..

Shot, but what are the faults?

Is there anything you don't like about it?

Also I want to know if there is such function..

Because i'm planning to get one for educational purposes..

So i want to ask, if you have a "sketch" pad.. and type notes and do drawings.. Does it have an app to do that?

Thanks~

It has a memo pad called pen memo if that's what u looking for and in market place there are other aps to do sckething etc.

Faults well I don't find anything wrong with it aperently there is the newton ring issue check there's a thread about it on my bb but I haven't experienced anything like it,

I don't like that the browser defaults to mobile version for most sites but there is a very easy work around but annoying I have to do it every time I reopen the browser

Its office alternative Polaris is really cool took a bit of getting used to with the on screen keyboard but I got it right, but I think it will work with any Bluetooth keyboard or mouse I tested with a mouse it works no problems, don't have a keyboard to test with
I took it on the mtn contract was the cheapest I could find I saw cna was advertising the will be selling it soon but not sure what price

memo pad? Pen memo? what is that?

newton ring? so kind of hardware issue?

But ok.. others are just minor lol..

shot.. But everything else is cool?

Um.. have you tried changing internet proxy? Because I need internet, but on my side I need to change proxies.. So yeah.. if you can please give shout.. cause I'm only really worried about that :P

Thanks

pen memo is the little note pad it comes with for taking notes etc, not sure if its exactly what u want for your particular use maybe u should see if mtn or one of the stores has a demo unit for u to ply with, at least u can go to an istore to test the ipad

newton rinp its some sort of screen problem (sort of like when u put a magnet to a crt tv) that has happened to a few guys unit not mine touch wood some one said it affected only a certain batch number

nope haven tried anything with changing proxies either used the 3g or connected it to my home wifi

I see.. mm.. I just want like: a piece of paper, [endless] where I can just "type" and "draw" when I need to.. and then label.. so yeah.. Just like a book, but electronically :)

But yeah, will have a test somewhere...

oh i see... sigh.. always this risk :(

Thanks

If you decided on a tablet (other thread you started) then my advice is to go for the iPad 2. The Android tablets are not on par yet (I have both iPad and P7500 and I will at this time choose the iPad every day of the week). My opinion from personal experience but some will not agree.

I have the 10.1 and and Ipad 2. The Ipad 2 is gathering dust at the moment so opposite to the guy above. Again personal opinion.

An iPad 2 that's gathering dust? You sure you know how to switch it on? LOL! A person that cannot put such an awesome device into full use should not own one and should donate it to people like me that can push full value from them. I'll PM you my address and you can courier it to me. ;)

iPad 2? Really? Though the specs says 7500 beats iPad 2..

also.. Andriods apps are free.. where apple you have to pay... what you say about that? :wtf:

Is the 7500 really that much better?

I don't really have personal choice.. because I haven't had any of them :(

I got the IPad 2 for my wife and I was really impressed by it initially. Now that I have the P7500 the IPad 2 has been in the top drawer (lol) for the last 3 to 4 weeks or so. Even my wife is now using the Galaxy lol after lots of debates about the IPad being better. Quite funny but like the typical iFan, she wont admit it. - She just stays silent now. lol.

Will try turning it on tonight. lol. No. Just think that Android is superior to iOS and prefer the experience on my Galaxy. Nothing much to it. Must actually find out if she wants to sell it as she doesnt actually use it much. Typical iFan will probably refuse though.

There is nothing wrong with either the iPad 2 or the SGTab 10.1. I have the 10.1 on the mtn special because I think it is better value for money than buying the iPad 2 and buying extra data for it every month.

The iPad 2 has much more apps than the Tab, but on the Tab I already have all the apps I want for it. Maybe if I see something worthwile on the iPad 2 I will get jealous a bit, but my friend that has the iPad 2 use it the same way I use my Tab, so I won't see something soon.

If you decide on what tablet I would recomend you look at
http://itunes.apple.com/us/app/sketchbook-express/id410871280?mt=8

There is an Paid version on both as well with more features but free its a great app to look at

LOL, my ipad is also gathering dust... and no you can not have it, I just find the ASUS Eee Pad more functional to my lifestyle :P

Actually I know of a couple of iPad's that is gathering dust, and its actually sad as I know a lot of people that would love to have something like that.

Edit: Oh the reason my Android tablet will never gather dust.... Like in ever.

One can use the iPad as a TV using the Drifta decoder. That already puts it to good use. It will still gather dust (LOL!) but will not sit doing nothing.
