My samsung galaxy is not automatically setting date and time when I take the battery out. It did at one stage.

Applications -> Settings -> Date and Time -> check the box "Automatic date and time"

Thx, it is set on auto... started when I was out the country over Xmas, and hasn't been the same. Will just have to manually set..

There is a app in the market to sync it with an atomic clock.

Thx , I figured it out... My data connection had to be on before switching on the phone... I switch my data connection off to save the battery life and unexpected data usage..
