Jip, Samsung drives have been recieving some good reviews. Cool and quiet drives. Never bought one myself, but there's many people who can vouch for them.

I got an Hitachi/IBM 160g as system drive, Seagate 7200.11 500g as storage, and getting this Samsung 1TB as external storage.

my samsung 1TB is great..runs cooler than most normal drives, besides raptors & stuff (coz of the heatsinks)
