As long as you don't need HDMI input, it's a nice HTiB system.
I considered it a while back, but didn't get it because I want my HTS to play sound from sources other than just DVDs/BluRays (for example PVR, Xbox, Media player, TV)..

It says it ha ARC so it should play from the tv. Just need it to play music. And is it worth it for the price

Theres a much better Sony system at Tafelberg Furnishers for R2699.

I looked around and recommended that to my sister, cos they want an all-in-one av system.

Hi, i have one in the lounge for tv surround sound. More than adequate for tv but if you are looking for something predominantly for music you should maybe rather look for a good 2.1 system
