I am unable to open Standard Bank or Nedbank secure sites on my i750, either thru internet explorer or WAP. I have no prob opening the first page but when I try to go to the secure site to do banking, the page just remains blank with no error or 'explanation'.

The i750 runs Windows Mobile 2003 Second Edition Version 4.21.1099 (Build 15102.3.0.1)

Any help will be greatly appreciated.

The banks and v3g say it's got nought to do with their settings.

For internet banking on your windows mobile device you need to get an alternate browser ... When logging onto secure websites your browser information is checked ... Pocket IE reports a version earlier than 5.0 or something in that lines .. Anyway it doesn't have the security features required which prohibits you going any further ...
Try using Opera or Netfront 3.3 .... these browsers will do the job ...

Thanks.

Are these free downloads? Where?

Edit: Got opera. Will give it a try. Many thanks for you assistance.

Opera is great, and I think it's faster too. Can it only be purchased over the net?

yip ... Handango is a safe site ... after all it is a Haven for PDA developers ... it would be a slap in the face for those " propeller heads " if the site wasnt secure enough for credit card transactions ...
I take it you can access your Banking website ... Your first transaction on your PDA can be purchasing the software that provided the functionality .. I think it would be quite fitting .. dont you?

Yup! Thanks again. It seem i've been asking the wrong people for about two months. You are absolutely THE GUY .

THE GUY (note all caps)

Why will operamini not work on my phone. It's free.:D

Also, if I continue with opera, can I delete IE and save space?

There is a version of opera Mini for Windows mobile devices .... i haven't used it
so i cant comment ... but looking at the name " Mini " it is probably a scaled down version of the application which doesn't have all the bells and whistles the full blown app has.
As for IE .. you could remove it yes ... you would have to edit the registry on the device ... The space saving wont be worth all the time and effort it will take to remove IE ...
You on the right track now .... strip that bad boy down .. get rid of all the gunk you dont need and turn it into a Lean Mean Machine ...

Your good advice is noted. I shall be paying for the "bells and whistles" version of Opera, leaving IE but please can I keep Jawbreaker and Solitaire.:D

Thanks again!

I cant get enough of Jaw breaker myself ... I put up 3000+ once on Mega shift game style ... but i cant seem to hit that figures again .. total games played is a couple of thousand ...

I'll just slink away quietly! (max. about 1200)

Yup. Mega shift. Ok. I don't feel to bad. Only been playing since Sept.

BTW. Opera does not appear to be available from the link you quoted. I guess then that the Opera official site should be it? About R167-00.
