i just got the i900v from vodacom, and it has this stupid vodafone logo on it, just wana know if there is any differences between the vodfone i900 and the mtn i900 beside vodafone live features...do they have the same accessories in the box etc..??? is there any difference in software? can i use mtn sim card in the phone? will it damage the phone?

I've got the same one. The Vodafone logo makes me wanna vommit!
But I have seen a mtn 'version', all the accessories are the same, both get the extra 8GB Micro SD, gps mount, car charger and earphones. Vodafone did go and put in their own crap cd and version of the manual tho...
As far as the phone goes - it's pretty much the same other than the stupid 'live!' shortcut key and the Opera Browser defaulting to the live! website at first... Havent spotted anything else yet

Its possible to change the right softkey (I did so myself last night). What you need to do is download a registry editor. I used one from here. When you select download, pick the Pocket Pc 2002,2003 (ARM/PXA) version.

Once you have installed the cab file on the phone (browse to the location you saved it, and click on it) then run it.

Navigate to the key" HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Windows\Today\Keys\113"

You'll see there are two keys, Default and Open. The "Default" key shows the value to be displayed on the right key, and the "Open" key points to the application to be ran when that button is pressed.

I changed my Default to Inbox and my open to "\Windows\tmail.exe" <- The quotes are important here. Although it doesnt ACTUALLY go to the inbox, it does go to the messaging screen.

Hope that helped :)

Nice1! You should also post that in the Omnia Tips thread - might be handy to other peeps too!
