Hey guys,
What are your opionions on the LED Tvs ?
 
they are expensive sets for people who have no problem shelling out R50,000 for a TV.

but I hear it looks better!
 
looking at the 40" which I can get for under 20k ...
 
I have a Sony Bravia 40" full HD tv and to tell you the truth if I had the money I would upgrade to the LED screen

The Samsung LED caught my eye in the shop the other day I was amazed how clear it was its a really good tv it uses less electricity and its paper thin

If you have the money to spend go for it I have only heard good things about that TV
 
I'ts a nice TV. What will you be using it for? Sports? Blu Ray? Gaming?
 
It is just over priced in SA, but then, what isn't?
The 7000 series costs around R16k in the UK.

The Current can't really be classified as True LED.
Rather wait for OLED or 3DTV which were a major hit at CES 2010.

I'm not bad mouthing the current "LED" TV's. They sure are great.
Why dont you rather look into getting a big Tru Motion LCD or bigger Plasma for the same price of the LED.

Also like NOD mentioned, they are totally overpriced (New Technology)
But we are so used to it in SA.

Just my opinion.
