this has proved to be one of the worst buys i've done

it started when it first totally drained the battery. i lost the efs. samsung wanted to charge me R2000+ for that. i said no thanks.

i managed to get an efs that at least got the wireless working.

but f**k me, samsung in south africa do not give a ****.
 
If you took it to one of those walk in centres they do not belong to Samsung. They are contracted to them and yes the worst service I have encountered.
I emailed an official complaint directly to Samsung and they sorted it for me.

+1000! I almost had a heart attack on my 53rd birthday courtesy of the Samsung Service Center at Constantia Park.:mad:
 
Agree, one could die at Samsung Constantia park and nobody would notice. Samsung has diabolical after sales service in SA.

But ..... is that the Note 8 that came out several years ago? Why don't you like it? I absolutely love mine ♡.
