It is upgrade time for me, so need to make a call between getting the Note 9, or wait for the S10 Plus ... Any inputs here?

If you can live with the pill-shaped front facing camera cutout of the S10+ (personal taste, I don't hate it but I don't like it either) , and you definitely don't need an S-Pen, then I think you should just wait for the S10+, but it obviously won't be cheap.

We have reached the peak smartphone in all practicality ... only get the S10 if the camera upgrade tickles your fancy.

Sorry to hijack this thread, but I bought the s9+ 256GB in Dubai a few weeks ago. I plan to flash the SA firmware onto the device, but I see that they only sell up to the 128GB version in SA and therefore sammobile.com only has the CSC support for up to the 128GB version in SA. Can I flash this version on my phone without any problems?

Offtopic - but I'd recommend searching XDA forums for a guide on. They should have an international firmware on it.

I've done a bit of promo work on Samsung phones. From what I know, when the new galaxy is released, only the prev gen galaxy (s9) gets cheaper. They start off by keeping it at the same price but giving something extra (gear/tablet/vr headset) and then after a few months offer it for cheaper. The price of the note only marginally decreases. So my advice will still be to wait and see what they have on offer if you can wait it out. I also don't recommend being an early adopter - wait for reviews and see what faults the devices have and get it after a few weeks after the kinks are sorted
