Hi

At the end of last year I bought the P2350 and after 6 weeks it spontaneously created a red vertical line. Needles to say I took it back to the store I bought it from and it was replaced. This time, after a fews weeks, the screen would just switch off from time to time (it would go on for 2 seconds and switch of again). So I took it back and had it repaired, lasted another two weeks and the problem came back, took it in for returns again and low and behold, it still does not work. So I took it back again and it was fixed. Again (3 repairs in 3 months and 8 weeks of PC-lessnes. Yay!).

Initialy I was told that on the third return the product would be replaced, but today, conveniently, they say that the policy of the company that fixes the screen states that after the fourth return it would be replaced.

So after this wall of text I would like to know whether anyone of you has had similar problems and if you know if there is a standard policy for replacement qualification or if it is only a business rule (surely, they are losing money by 'fixing' the screen everytime).

I left out the business name on purpose (this allready sounds way to much like a hellopeter post).

is it not three returns of the same issue that they would replace it?

Mine was replaced once with the red/pink lines down the right hand side.

standard 3 year, so keep on taking it back and demand a different model.

Ah, a replace for three returns of the same issue makes sense, thanks for the feedback.

Btw, the monitor has made it through the first weekend without fault. I tested it with 13 hours of Torchlight --- its a tough job, but someone had to do it ;)
