Samsung Pay on US Variant Samsung

I've been looking at buying the S21 Ultra and it seems that buying it on Amazon works out cheaper than buying it in SA with the benefit of getting the Snapdragon model. (It is also carrier unlocked)

My only issue would be whether or not Samsung pay would work here in SA. Asking around at Samsung Stories has given me mixed answers.

Has anyone here been able to Register Samsung Pay on a US variant Samsung?

You can also buy the International Model if maybe it will work on that?

Why wouldn't it work, surely if it's unlocked and not rooted it should allow any banking type app to work.

I've never heard of local banking apps not being able to run on intl Samsung phones and Samsung Pay is open in the Sa market so it's just another banking app. But who knows I could be wrong.
