I have a few issues with the Samsung Pixon M8800 and don't know if its firmware, simcard or service provider specific. I am with cellc on a casualchat 100 contract.
First, I can't find any option to select the phone or sim memory exclusively for storage of sms messages, so when the messages get full on the simcard (about 20 smses) it gives me a warning that i must delete some messages. If don’t the messages don't come through. It’s very annoying to constantly delete SMSes off the sim to receive smses.
Second, if I select vodacom as the carrier it will work fine for days and then randomly gives a error "limited service". I can't do anything then, and have to go manual search for the service provider and select it.
Third, SMSes sometimes just doesn't want to send, I have to power off the phone, power it on again and then send the SMS...
