A number of devices were announced yesterday at Samsung's Premiere event.
What is interesting is the amount of emphasis that Samsung placed on Windows devices, which is why this thread is in this section.
The Windows devices that were announced are as follows:
- ATIV Tab 3
- ATIV One 5
- ATIV Book 9
- ATIV Q
The most appealing to me is the Tab 3, which looks very much like an iPa.. ah, Galaxy Tab (see thread image). I am in the market for a Windows 8 tablet, so this might be it. They say it comes with a keyboard and will cost US$600 in the US, which is a bit hefty IMO. But, it comes with Office preloaded.
Lets hope when (if) they reach our shores, they will be shipped without the keyboard and will cost in the region of R5,000 - R6,500 at most (more or less like the iPad).
