Samsung profits down on Note 7 mess

Samsung’s earnings have declined due to the Galaxy Note 7 discontinuation.

Shouldn't the Note 7 write down or mess only be accounted for in their next quarter?

Well, its definitively going down in history as one of the more spectacular failures. To be used in case studies around the world.

Unsurprisingly there profit should take a knock, the question now is how long will it take to recover.
