Samsung S2 and BBM

Got an S2 yesterday... BBM is running and profile pictures and status updates are showing but messages don't send and aren't being received...

Anyone know how to fix this or what the issue could be?

Was the phone new? Was BBM newly installed by you? Or was it already on the phone?

Try uninstalling and reinstalling... or clearing app data, so you can put back your account details for a fresh start.

Reset the phone to factory settings yesterday and then installed. Did the above suggestions as well and nothing worked

Try creating a new BBID

Works with another (old) BBID. Tried a different phone as well now and same issue with the BBID I've been trying to use.... So the issue is with the BBID. Any ideas what I can do?

So now something else I picked up... The contact works after a status change
