Samsung S2 firmware issue

Hi all,

I recently upgraded my phone's firmware through Kies.

My phone is now running the latest firmware (Android 4.1.2), but it cannot receive MMSes.

I've been to the MTN store, I've worked with their telephonic support network, I've Googled, etc..

The APN settings are not saved, whether they arrive OTA or are entered manually.

I've tried OTA settings with an old SIM card that we had here and although it says that I am setup for MMSes, there are no APN settings saved.

How do I reinstall the same or older firmware, please?

Did you do a factory reset after installing the new firmware? Sorted out the problem I was having with mine (battery not lasting), but I have heard it can solve a multitude of problems
