Samsung s4 insert sim error

Hi All

Have any Samsung s4 users had this error, where the phone stops readying the micro sim? It happened to me 10 days before its 1 year anniversary. When I look on forums it seems that this is a known issue.

Something to do with a poor wield on the device near the sim reader. how many others users have had this issue?

I'm in the trade and have only had SIM carrier problems when a customer has physically damaged one or more of the six pins.

I've once or twice had SIM cards that wouldn't read in a S2/S3 and S4 after an OS upgrade but a SIM swap answered this problem.

Strange, well I will send feedback on what happened. All I know is that its in perfect condition and in my pocket. Strangely both my phone and my Wifes ( also S4 ) reset at mid day in cape Town CBD and when my rebooted the insert sim error was there.

The consultant checked my sim and it was fine so the phone has been sent back.

Happened to me as well.

My issue was resolved by doing a sim swap. Thereafter it never gave that error again.
