From my experience the cheapie R100 batteries from the Pakistani guys or similar are worthless, barely hold charge considering they are brand new and then tank after a month or 2 of use. Went through this same process for my mom's S4, tried 2 then eventually got a Duracell for R500 at the Vodacom shop. This is really the problem with old phones, finding a decent and affordable/economically viable replacement battery.
