Samsung screen and HP printer repair

I have a Sumsung LCD screen with a flickering backlight which only stop flickering after about 20 minutes of use. Then I also have a HP printer with some issue.

Does anyone know of a good place where I can get quotes to get these fixed? I live near Vredekloof, but I don't mind driving somewhere to get this done.

I'm not too sure. Mostly screens IIRC. They are actually official warranty agents for Samsung and LG. Maybe they can refer you to a printer repair place.

Must be a non-entry level printer? I mean they're so cheap I'd imagine repair would be nearly as much as buying new.

The printer is actually a cheap entry level printer. I'm obviously prepared to buy a new one as they're so cheap, but I'd just like to make sure. Maybe it's a small easy-to-fix issue.

I took my monitor to CRT today. About 2 hours later, I got the ready-for-collection sms. I didn't have any prove of warranty with me, but they fixed it free of charge anyway. Really good service, in case somebody else has a broken monitor.

I took the printer to Printer Parts Cape. The guy looked at me for about 0.5 seconds before saying "throw away". Enough said.
