If you're on Vodacom and you've got an older SIM card it may not be data enabled. Believe it or not, these "older" SIM cards are still being sold today!

You'll also need the correct network settings on the E250.

What network you on a possible vodacom problem was mentioned, if your phone is new i think you must wait twenty four hours, cell c and thus virgin tend to act up sometimes and i go to setting-network selection-manual and choose vodacom. im on virgin.

since this is about my phone model. I would like to know if anybody knows if i can upgrade the firmware of the e250, has anyone had problems using the gmail app and how it was solved. i use virgin mobile, the phone was bought from a cell c shop.

Yeah it sure can I have had no problems with it and I have had my phone for nearly 2 years now
