Lets start by identifying the OS of the i780 as Windows Mobile 6.1, accordingly not Symbian OS like most other phones on the market that require PC Suite to sync with your Windows PC.

Therefore you need to use the CD that accompannied that i780 which uses one of the following applications to Sync;

1) ActiveSync for Windows XP PC systems.
2) Windows Mobile Device Centre for Windows Vista/Win 7 (32/64bit Versions)

You may download these directly from Microsoft Moblie Website(use the seach funtion on Microsoft.com site), do not try on other places as these might contain Malware.
