Hey Guys,

I've recently ordered a SSD from bidorbuy. They advertised it as a Samsung 840 Pro but after receiving it, I realized it is a Samsung SM841. So after lots of research some people says its the OEM version of the 840 pro but there really isn't much on google.

So I would like to know whether anyone of you guys know more about this drive?

According to this and this no, ask for a refund as it was false advertising.

It's similar to the 840 pro but differs in the following ways:

*No samsung warranty
*Write speeds of +-350MBps instead of +-500MBps
*No support for samsung software
*No firmware updates
