hey everyone,

I was a bit daft when buying this TV. I usually do a bit of research when purchasing any expensive item, but certainly didnt when I bought this tv.

To the issue on hand: this is an entry level smart TV by samsung. Smart is an overstatement: ever since I bought it the browser keeps crashing resulting in a frustrating viewing experience. I contacted customer care; and after a string of resets and upgrades, still no luck.

I took it to a samsung repair centre twice:
1st time - wireless adapter was replaced,
2nd time - wireless adapter (again) and mainboard was replaced

Still no luck. The repair centre insists that its my internet connection causing the browser to crash, to which I responded that neither my computer nor smartphone crashes, using the same internet connection. He still hammers on the point that its probably my internet connection which is the root cause of the issue.

Any advice on what my next step should be? Is there a samsung rep on this forum?

Tell them to connect it to a Wifi/internet connection and test it properly, surely if they are worth their salt they would test it as per your described problem,

Use you normal intenet connection record a video on your phone, and then do it again by using your phone's Hotspot if it has one.

Then you have proof that it doesnt work

If not contact head office and demand a replacement or how long ago did you buy this TV and from where ?
cus you do have 14days to ask your money back.

Definitely not an entry level TV and definitely not problematic. The fact that it crashes must be a harware issue, a connection cannot do that. So insist on repairs and return it.

The smart experience on the E range is not the greatest. But you can't expect much given what you are paying. It's a fantastic tv.

No rep on the forum.

I've contacted Samsung.. been 4 days, still waiting for a reply.. will wait and see. Yeah the E range smart functionality isn't that great. Think its one of the more basic smart TVs around
